Attention, Galaxy Defenders! A new hooded sweatshirt and tee for MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack are available at Universal Studios Florida.
The sweatshirt has a heather black torso and solid black sleeves.
A logo for the ride is on the front with “Alien Attack” in green lettering across “MIB.”
The letters of “MIB” are textured.
It has a large pocket on the front.
The tee is black. It has white at the end of the sleeves and the neckline.
The same Alien Attack logo is on the tee.
These were in the MIB Gear Shop.

As we reported last summer, Walt Disney World is installing a new digital billboard to feature artwork on International Drive.
The billboard wraps around the corner of a parking garage. Right now, just the billboard supports are in place and not the screen.
The wavy billboard will be on two sides of the garage.
Cranes and cherry picker vehicles were at the construction site when we drove by.
It looks like the first sections of the screen have been installed. There was a black strip at the bottom of one end.
Crew members were working on the corner of the billboard.

Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground is throwing it back to an icon of Tomorrowland past with a recently-opened suite themed to the “House of the Future.”
In early 2022 Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground invites lovers of retro cool to step into an authentic and nostalgic slice of 1960s family vacation fun with an all-new suite and reimagined rooms. Clocks and calendars have been dialed back to the “Good Vibrations” of 1960s Southern California vacationing to provide a thoroughly unique Mid-century modern getaway with all of the convenience of 21st century comforts in the heart of the Anaheim Resort District (directly across the street from Disneyland® Resort).
The highlight of the hotel’s recent renovations is the “House of the Retro Future Suite” (Where guests can experience yesterday’s tomorrow, today). The interior décor and design of the new suite were heavily influenced by the Monsanto House of the Future, which was featured in Tomorrowland at Disneyland® Park from 1957 to 1967. The suite implies the home’s mid-century modern design sensibilities (a melding of functional style and cutting-edge technology). Other décor/design inspirations came from examples of Googie and mid-century modern architecture once found in the Anaheim Resort District during the 1960s.
The suite features numerous design nuances that harken back to the Monsanto House of the Future, such as multi-paned window frames (providing glimpses of the futuristic Disneyland® Monorail), a seemingly 1960s era tube TV with round/curved framing, and vibrant color schemes. Custom artwork by popular artist Shag accents the suite, along with retro seating by Modernica and Herman Miller, decorative panels by Modular Arts, and appropriate era lighting by Restoration Hardware.
Additional entertainment in the “House of the Retro Future Suite” is provided by a vintage-style record player with era-appropriate record albums. The suite also comes with its own soundtrack (on Apple Music – Howard Johnson Jet Set) that features 1960s inspired music that will put guests in a Swingin’ 60s, Space Age mindset with touches of bossa Nova, smooth jazz, and ultra-lounge melodies.
The addition of the “House of the Retro Future Suite” caps a multi-year and multi-million-dollar renovation of the Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel. To reflect the hotel’s mid-century past and brand, its familiar turquoise and orange color schemes have been preserved, resulting in a thoroughly retro-hip makeover.
In addition to touches of turquoise and orange, all rooms now feature such 1950s/1960s décor era throwbacks as rounded mirrors inspired by George Nelson’s marshmallow sofa; desk chairs that echo the Eames desk chair, and a side table inspired by Eero Saarinen‘s pedestal table. The newly renovated Garden Pool features a newly re-imagined 1960s inspired deck area surrounded by mature Canary Island Pines and lush landscaping, providing an ideal oasis for relaxation and fun in the California sun.
The Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel is an authentic example of what is now known as Mid-century modern architecture, a design approach that was popular during the 20th-century (primarily in the 1950s and 1960s). It is characterized by a contemporary, seemingly futuristic, aesthetic with an emphasis on form and function. The hotel was designed by world-renowned architect William L. Pereira, one of the masters of the popular Mid-century modern architectural movement. Pereira’s mid-century modern design style can be seen in the hotel’s unique vaulted ceilings, barrel arch roofline, and charmingly futuristic lobby building.

A new Loungefly Minnie ear headband featuring characters and icons from Disney Parks has arrived at Disneyland Resort. We found it in the Emporium at Disneyland.
The ear headband has a blue color scheme.
The ears are patterned with characters and icons, including Mickey Mouse, the Mad Hatter, Darth Vader, Mickey balloons, and Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The bow is covered in darker blue sequins.
The ears also feature the Hitchhiking Ghost,s Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear, and Minnie Mouse.
A Disney x Loungefly plaque is attached to the outside of the headband.
