Instagram user David Montoy Buenfil shared a video of the beginning of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, including the backwards launch.

Swipe through David’s post above or directly on Instagram to see the video. The video includes the various Guardians talking to guests, a glimpse of Eson, and then the reverse launch.

This coaster is the first at Walt Disney World to have a reverse launch.

The Vault Collection at Walt Disney World celebrates the opening day and previous anniversaries of Walt Disney World. A “tencennial” 10th anniversary tee, Mickey and friends shirt, and Mickey and Minnie shorts have joined the collection

Tencennial Tee – $39.99

The tee is dark blue, with a shiny version of Cinderella Castle and the Walt Disney World logo on the front.

Behind the castle is the number 10 made out of shiny silver, pink, red, and orange stripes.

Walt Disney World celebrated their 10th anniversary in 1981 with a tencennial parade.

Mickey & Minnie Shorts – $36.99

These shorts are heather grey with a dark blue waistband and green drawstring.

The pockets are also outlined in green. Minnie and Mickey are pictured on one leg.

The other leg has “Walt Disney World” and “71” printed in red.

Mickey and Friends Tee – $36.99

This shirt matches the shorts, with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy pictured in a retro style.

The gang’s all here on the front pocket, with the Walt Disney World logo.

One sleeve reads “Oct. 1971.” It also features the castle and “Walt Disney World.”

Mickey and Minnie are on the other sleeve.

These were in Island Mercantile at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

This week is an exciting one in Disney World! The Connections Café and Eatery in EPCOT are both opening on April 27th (that’s tomorrow!) and on Thursday, Disney is celebrating Halfway to Halloween with a ton of fun treats and announcements!

First, the Beauty and the Beast stage show is no longer having the performers remain socially distanced on stage, and the show has returned to the normal choreography.

Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring: Aerosmith

Yesterday, Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring: Aerosmith broke down, and it has remained closed since then (along with two other Hollywood Studios rides). As of this writing, it still has not reopened, though the others have.

It’s closed!

We asked a Cast Member if this was at all related to the extended closure this attraction experienced a few months ago, and they confirmed for us that it was.

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular

The plane stunt at the end of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular is not currently being performed due to technical difficulties.

It seems that Woody’s Lunch Box seating is being expanded even further than the recently added awning in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, explaining why work on the area is taking so long.

We haven’t seen much progress on the shaded area in the past few months, and no seats have been added beneath it.

The awning is constructed to look like it is held up by K’NEX pieces.

There is no visible progress from behind Woody’s Lunch Box, either, however, there is construction fencing and works happening just next door now.

Green scrim runs down almost the entire exit queue, leading us to believe that the seating area of Woody’s Lunch Box will eventually be expanded more than previously expected.

This area is just to the left of the large storybook that makes up the tallest point of the Woody’s Lunchbox facade. Themed lampposts and signage is all that remains along the path.

A peek over the fence reveals that most of the area has been cleared, with railings protecting cast members from the work site.

Meanwhile, the exit of Toy Story Mania was recently rerouted as the store inside is rethemed to Jessie’s Trading Post.

Guests instead exit through a “backstage” area surrounded by hedges.

They pass this semi-circle of construction walls and scrim.

A bit of old Hollywood Studios still exists back here, just beyond what was PIXAR Place.

In addition to Jessie’s Trading Post and expanded Woody’s Lunch Box seating, the Roundup Rodeo BBQ is also under construction in Toy Story Land.

One of the most fun and unique things that happens at Disney Parks are the After Hours events!

Very Merriest After Hours

From holiday events like Disney World’s Boo Bash and Disneyland’s Merriest Nites to special events just for Disney Vacation Club members, they’re a great way to hang out in the parks after closing time and enjoy things you wouldn’t usually get to do! One of these events that’s a big hit is Grad Nite at Disneyland Resort, which is actually returning this year. And now, a NEW kind of Grad Nite after hours event is coming to Disneyland!

The First-ever Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion is happening soon! The event will debut on select nights in June at Disney California Adventure Park. You can join in a reunion party filled with dancing, fun, and nostalgia from graduation classes of the last SIX decades!

This is a separately ticketed event that will give you after-hours access to California Adventure after the park closes. You will also be able to experience special offerings not usually available during the day! There will be cafeteria-inspired dishes, special character experiences, entertainment, photo opportunities, and select attractions available. Events like this usually allow you to go on rides with WAY shorter wait times!

The event will be for 4 hours, with 3 additional hours of pre-party at Disney California Adventure Park, meaning you can get into the park 3 hours before the event begins. You’ll also get a commemorative credential and guide as well as unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos you take during the party.

Here are some things you can expect during the event:

• Enjoy sightings of beloved Disney characters throughout the evening with a few favorites proudly wearing their cap and gown
• March-along pep-rally style with some favorite Disney friends
• Dance through the decades to hits of today and yesterday
• Retro photo opportunities
• Unique, cafeteria-inspired food and beverage offerings
• Special after-hours access to most of the park’s attractions
• Party attire encouraged. Don’t forget to show your school spirit!

Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion will be offered on June 23rd, 28th, and 30th, 2022. Tickets will go on sale on Disneyland’s website on April 28th, 2022, no earlier than 12PM PT. A limited amount of tickets will be available for each event, so make sure to grab them as SOON as they go on sale!
