The wait is almost over!

Disney recently announced that EPCOT’s brand new Guardians of the Galaxy ride (Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind) will open on May 27th, 2022, and Cast Members will get a special preview of it. But, Cast Members aren’t the only ones who will get the chance to get a peek inside this exciting new ride before the general public… .

Disney has started sending emails to Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members to let them know that they will also be getting EARLY access to the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster.

So far, the email simply indicates that Passholders or “eligible” DVC members will be invited to a sneak peek of the Guardians ride. It also advises Passholders and eligible DVC members to  be on the lookout for a registration email soon.

Last year, when Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened in EPCOT, we also saw Passholders and DVC members (as well as Disney Cast Members) provided with special previews of the ride. For the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure previews, DVC members who were eligible to attend the previews were only those with Walt Disney World Resort Reservations booked using their membership no later than August 1st, 2021 for vacation dates that overlapped with the designated preview dates.

The rules for the DVC Member previews could be similar for the Guardians of the Galaxy ride (in terms of requiring vacations booked on specific days with the DVC membership), but Disney has not yet released exact information on that yet.
