The rainy Florida weather has arrived!
Ever wondered what it looks like when the sky opens ups and a big ol’ thunderstorm rolls into town? Lucky for you, we braved the storm and have the photos to prove it!
It started out as a normal day at Disney World. Disney’s Hollywood Studios was hustling and bustling, the sky was a little overcast, and we were ready for a nice spring park day! (Or so we thought…
)
One minute you’re dry…
After we checked the weather forecast, we noticed that Orange county and Osceola county were placed under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch (Disney World is located in both counties). It was time to brace for rain — LOTS of rain!
…the next minute you’re soaked!
By around 4PM, a severe thunderstorm rolled through Hollywood Studios. Pretty much everyone ran for cover or went indoors to avoid the downpour.
The storms have arrived in Central Florida and we might just need a boat to get back to the bus stop!

In the event of such a large rainstorm, it’s usually best to look for Disney’s indoor attractions and shows that will keep you out of that yucky weather. Now’s not the time for a scenic stroll through Batuu!
