The chef of Ballast Point Brewery & Kitchen in Downtown Disney District has created a new ravioli dish partially inspired by Disney’s “Ratatouille.”
Ballast Point is a “friend of the festival” during the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.
The suggested beer pairings with the ratatouille ravioli are Calico Amber and Simcoe Single Hop Pale Ale.
Ratatouille Ravioli – $28
Ratatouille stuffed ravioli with charred artichoke cream sauce
This dish was all made fresh from scratch. The pasta was light and perfectly cooked.
The ratatouille filling was made with eggplant, zucchini, red bell pepper, tomato, sage, and thyme. It had just enough of everything for a perfect blend that took us back to the famous “Ratatouille” scene.
We had never had charred artichoke cream sauce before but now we want a gallon of it to go. It tasted like a lighter alfredo sauce and was perfectly creamy.
This was a fun Disney twist on a classic meal and will be available in limited quantities daily (due to how time-consuming it is to make) through the end of the Food & Wine Festival.
