Spyglass Grill at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has finally reopened after two years, with a few menu changes. We stopped by for breakfast on opening day to try the new plant-based Trinidad sunrise crispy yuca bowl and breakfast wrap.
Cast Members were excited to welcome guests back.
They put out a hopscotch mat for kids.
There was also a Spyglass Grill frame available for photos.
Breakfast is from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Lunch and dinner are then available until 10:00 p.m. Mobile order is available.
Both new breakfast options are plant-based.
Breakfast Wrap – $6.99
Plant-based Eggs, Plant-based Chorizo, and Spinach wrapped in a Flour Tortilla
This was a surprisingly good breakfast wrap.
Everything in the wrap goes well together for a great meal to fuel up before a park day.
The seasoning is on point. The chorizo has a light spicy aftertaste.
The wrap is toasted, which adds texture to the soft insides.
We would definitely get this again.
Trinidad Sunrise Crispy Yuca Bowl – $9.49
Plant-based Eggs served over Crispy Yuca with Black Beans and topped with Pico de Gallo
This bowl has a large serving that could serve two people comfortably.
We felt like the eggs could use a bit more salt.
There’s a lot of pico de gallo, which means it is the predominant flavor throughout the dish.
The yuca is crispy, but some pieces were overdone and hard to bite through.
We definitely prefer the breakfast wrap over the yuca bowl, but both are decent options.
