Recently, Disney gave us some new updates regarding their mission to become more sustainable by the end of this decade. The ultimate goal for the company is to have net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2030.
While this is certainly a lofty goal, it can sometimes seem overwhelming as individuals to know what needs to be done. Well now, Robert Downey, Jr. is releasing a new book that might be able to help.
Robert Downey, Jr. (you know, Iron Man), along with Thomas Kostigen (a bestselling environmental author) is writing his first ever nonfiction book called Cool Food: Erasing Your Carbon Footprint One Bite at a Time, according to an article by Deadline.
The book will provide readers some insight into creating a carbon-free diet, along with how to make choices that will reduce your carbon footprint at the grocery store and when out to eat. Robert Downey, Jr. has been interested in climate sustainability for a while, and even founded The Footprint Coalition, which is a non-profit business focused on sustainable technology, in 2019.
The book is being published by Blackstone Publishing and does not have a scheduled publish date yet. Make sure to stay tuned to DFB for all the latest news!
