Space Mountain closed on Thursday at Disneyland to quickly change over to Hyperspace Mountain, a “Star Wars”-themed overlay in time for May the Fourth. The ride reopened Friday as scheduled, and we got a chance to ride!
Here you can see the updated attraction sign.
Even the warning sign got a minor update.
“Star Wars” characters greet guests on the screen as they enter.
Some of the signage is in Aurebesh and English.
Hyperspace Mountain at Disneyland is here for a limited time, but no timeframe has been specified.
Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain is the (apparently) permanent Space Mountain overlay in Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland.
Star Wars fans on the West Coast are looking forward to next month’s Disneyland After Dark Star Wars Nites.
