Earth Day is April 22 and Disneyland Resort is celebrating with some limited-time activities through the end of the month.
Cast Members have created environmental art pieces inspired by different Disney scenes and attractions. Above is one piece inspired by “Encanto.”
This piece is made to look like the “it’s a small world” façade. Each piece is created with recycled and reused materials. Guests can view them and vote for their favorites at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail through April 30.
Earth Month activities will be hosted at Disneyland Resort Hotels from April 7 through 28. At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the horticulture team will host “Beneficial Garden Insects Show & Tell.” Guests will also have the chance to decorate their own reusable utensil pouch.
From April 22-28, fans can test their environmental knowledge in the Play Disney Parks app.
Finally, guests will be able to see a mural of Stella, a baby gray whale, next to Star Wars Trading Post at Downtown Disney District.
