Welcome back to another beautiful day at the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s sunny and the temperature isn’t overly hot – perfect weather for a day at the parks.
While walking into CityWalk we noticed something a little different about the welcome sign.
The entire welcome sign is missing! Previously just the “Orlando” part was missing from the sign, but today all of the letters have been removed. We aren’t sure if this is just a refurbishment or if the sign will be replaced, but stay tuned for updates.
Looking for a new mug to put your morning coffee in? Check out these cool mugs we spotted around the parks.
If you’re a fan of the Marvel Comics merchandise we talked about a few weeks ago, then you definitely need to add this mug to your collection!
Big time Avengers fan? This mug matches this previous merchandise collection we found a couple weeks ago as well.
Marvel isn’t your style, we get it. How about Harry Potter? Show your house pride with these Hogwarts house themed mugs!
Okay no more mug talk – let’s head into the parks. First stop, Universal Studios Florida.
Diagon Alley is usually one of the busiest areas, so it not being too crowded was a great start to our day!
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts was only a 35 minute wait this morning. Not bad.
Heading towards the entrance of the park though, Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem was a 90 minute wait. Minions are definitely a crowd priority.
Not much going on around Universal Studios Florida, so let’s head over to Universals Island’s of Adventure.
Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls somehow makes a 75 foot drop look like a breeze.
Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges reopened last week from a standard refurbishment. Warning, you will get soaked. Fear not, the beautiful weather will be sure to dry you off!
We ended our day hanging out with Cyclops outside the Comic Shop in Marvel Super Hero Island.
