Disneyland Resort is slowly returning to “normal,” and this week we learned about the return of a popular college marching band, plus a Main Street Electrical Parade merchandise collection coming soon!
We also tried some specialty beignets, a sweet churro, and a churro that reminded us of cleaning products. Plus, there was a TON of new merchandise! Read all about it right here.
Disneyland Resort Food Updates
At Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express in Downtown Disney, we tried Cookies and Cream Beignets, which were topped with cookies and cream icing and chocolate cookie crumbles. You get four for $12.99.
We LOVED these beignets. They were served warm and they had a sweet cookies and cream flavor. If you like Oreos, you should give them a try!

In Disney California Adventure, we visited Terran Treats to try the new Sweet Spiral Ration, which was described as a “Terran Apple Streusel Churro” for $6.25. We had to admit, it has an odd look, but we were pleasantly surprised!
Cinnamon sugar and apple were layered on top of the churro, and it was a delicious flavor combo. The frosting looked a bit weird but it added the perfect touch of sweetness. If you can get past the look of it, it’s totally worth a try!
Check out our review of the Sweet Spiral Ration here!
And over at the churro cart by Schmoozies in Disney California Adventure, we ordered the Lemon Blueberry Churro for $6.75. It was a classic churro drizzled with lemon and blueberry sauce and y’all, it was not good.
It was served warm and fresh, but that was basically the only good thing about it. The lemon and blueberry flavors tasted artificial, and it kind of reminded us of a citrus-scented cleaning product. Not great.
Here’s our review of the Lemon Blueberry Churro!
