Even renting a car is pretty tricky these days! We all need a way to travel to Disney World, but with so many options, it can be hard to decide what’s best for you and your family.

If you prefer the freedom of traveling around Florida with a car, you’ve likely considered a rental service. Now, there’s a NEW option for guests hoping to drive themselves around Disney World, and it might solve some of your problems!

If you’re flying into the Orlando International Airport, you might want to consider a new transportation option that works like a rental car service, but with a few key differences. Let’s break it down.

Imagine a rental service like Airbnb, but for CARS. Yeah — it’s a thing! Turo, a company that specializes in car-sharing, just partnered with the Orlando International Airport, according to WESH 2 News. Now, travelers can reserve a car directly from the owner right at the airport. The best part? Turo claims to offer some great prices!

In a statement to WESH 2 News, a Turo spokesperson explained, “What we offer is an app where car owners can share their cars and earn some extra income for their family or for their lifestyles. And guests get access to great cars at great prices.”

The process is pretty simple! Guests must download the Turo app, select their dates, and choose a car. Then, once the customer lands at the Orlando International Airport, they can pick up the car in one of MCO’s parking garages (The host will give specific instructions on where/how to find the car). According to WESH 2 News, the host may leave a dropbox with car keys inside, remotely start the car through the app, or exchange the car in person.

Additionally, Turo offers 24/7 customer support, roadside assistance, and several different insurance packages in case of emergency. The prices will vary depending on the date, make, and model of the car, but here’s a peek at a few of the options available in mid-April. The prices ranged from about $90 to around $300 per day.
