Picture this — it’s 12:30PM and you’re wandering around a Disney World park, trying to find something to eat that’s 1. nearby 2. actually tasty and 3. not ridiculously expensive or time consuming. We’ve totally been there before! Luckily, we can help you out.
There are a bunch of places to eat in Disney World, but some are much better than others (and we’ve tried them ALL, so we would know!). We’ve got some tried and true dining spots that almost never let us down, so let’s talk about some restaurants that you should definitely check out for lunch while you’re in Disney World!
Satu’li Canteen
Over in Animal Kingdom, in the land of Pandora, you’ll find Satu’li Canteen! This Quick Service spot specializes in food that you wouldn’t really consider your typical theme park fare. You can create your own bowl, starting with a base like rice and beans or noodles and then add a protein, sauce, and customize toppings.
If you don’t want a bowl, there are also those DELICIOUS cheeseburger pods that we absolutely love. They’re similar to bao buns, but they’re stuffed with cheeseburger filling (just trust us on this one!). The atmosphere is pretty cool in here as well, and there’s a bunch of seating either inside or outside, both out of the sun and a great place to cool down.
Satu’li Canteen is relatively healthy and it’s super filling, so it will help you go about your theme park with a ton of energy! It’s also not greasy or heavy, so you won’t feel weighed down.

Steakhouse 71
One of the newer spots at Disney World is Steakhouse 71 over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It took the place of The Wave and is a steakhouse, but it has a bunch of other options as well! It also serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and has a bar and lounge area.
Now, we’re not suggesting you go here for lunch and eat an entire steak (although you do you!), but this one is on the list for that absolutely outstanding Steakhouse 71 Stack Burger on the menu! It’s like the diner burger of your dreams. It’s quite possibly one of the best burgers we’ve had at Disney World!
They also have sandwiches, soups, and salads on the menu, as well as some awesome sides like the onion rings! Plus, the Contemporary is only a short walk away from Magic Kingdom, so this is a great place to go to take a break from the crowds and grab a bite to eat.

Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie
Les Halles is in EPCOT’s France pavilion, and it’s a Quick Service bakery that has both sweet and savory items, like pastries, fresh sandwiches, and more. You can get items like the Jambon Beurre, which is Ham, Cheese, and Dijon Mustard Butter on a Demi Baguette, or a classic Pain au Chocolat (chocolate croissant).
There are both breakfast and lunch items here, as well as dessert, and breakfast is served all day so you can even eat it for lunch! Les Halles is a great place to grab a bite while walking around the World Showcase, or grab several items to share with people in your group.

Ronto Roasters
In Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios, you can find Ronto Roasters! This place is home to one of our ALL-TIME favorite foods in Disney World — the Ronto Wrap! There are different versions of the wrap, but the classic is Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, and Tangy Slaw wrapped in Pita Bread.
It’s just such a filling and satisfying food, and it’s very tasty. Plus, there’s a plant-based option, too!
We actually would recommend going here over any other place to eat in Galaxy’s Edge (sorry, Docking Bay 7!), because it’s that good. Do note that after 3PM though, the Ronto Wrap moves over to Docking Bay 7 for the rest of the day because Ronto Roasters closes!

Skipper Canteen
Back over in Magic Kingdom is a Table Service restaurant that you should definitely snag a lunch reservation for if you can (although sometimes the walk-up list is available!) — Skipper Canteen! Located in Adventureland, this restaurant is a continuation of the Jungle Cruise theme, and your waiters are actually Skippers!
The waiters are absolutely hilarious with their same witty humor from the ride, and there’s also delicious food and a really cool atmosphere. Skipper Canteen has more unique food options for people who are slightly more adventurous eaters, like Sustainable Fish, Curried Vegetable Crew Stew, and “Hardy Har Char” Siu Pork. Plus, don’t forget to ask about the secret menu so you can try the absolutely delicious Pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread!).
Even though this is a Table Service restaurant, the service is usually pretty quick, so it won’t be a whole afternoon affair. Plus, you can discover some Disney secrets in here if you look close enough!

Chicken Guy!
So, what if you’re not actually in the theme parks, but you’re over at Disney Springs! Don’t worry, there’s a bunch of options over there as well, including Chicken Guy! Chicken Guy! is Chef Guy Fieri’s restaurant that specializes in chicken tenders and special sauces. If you’re going to have chicken tenders in Disney World, this is where you should get them!
The thing that takes this place to the next level is the sauces — there are over 20 sauces to choose from, like Curry Mayo, Buffalo, and Donkey Sauce. They also have grilled tenders that you can get, as well as sandwiches and some awesome sides like Fried Pickle Chips and the Mac Daddy Mac ‘N’ Cheese.
This place is also super budget friendly and very fast since it’s Quick Service! It’s a great spot to grab some lunch in between the shopping at Disney Springs.

Spice Road Table
Spice Road Table is super underrated, so we’re here to hype it up! It’s located over in EPCOT’s Morocco pavilion and it’s on the water, making it a lunch spot with beautiful views of the World Showcase Lagoon. It doesn’t take reservations, so it’s first come, first serve, but it’s not as busy as some of the other spots in EPCOT!
You can enjoy small plates like Hummus Fries, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Spiced Chicken, and more. Don’t expect big portions here, but it’s perfect for ordering a bunch of small plates to share with your group, especially if you love Mediterranean food or want a break from burgers and fries.

Columbia Harbour House
Finishing off our list back in Magic Kingdom, we have Columbia Harbour House! This is a Quick Service spot that serves New England-inspired surf-and-turf in Liberty Square.
You can get platters with things like fried fish and shrimp, but there is also a very popular Lobster Roll over here!
There is also Clam Chowder, Grilled Salmon, and Hush Puppies that you can chow down on. And don’t worry, if you have a picky eater in the group (or are one yourself!) they also have chicken tenders and French fries! This spot has seating inside for you to escape the crowds and cool down along with a fun nautical theme. It’s a great lunch spot!
