- The line-up for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series at the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has been announced.
- The Global Marketplace food booths for the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival have been announced.
- This year’s version of Emile’s Fromage Montage at the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will include ten cheese dish options instead of just five.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Starting May 26, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will have several new plant-based dishes as well as new seasonal dishes.
- The beach area of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will be closed starting Monday, May 23, 2022, for a refurbishment.
New Merchandise
- A new portable charging kit by OtterBox is now available at Walt Disney World for the resort’s 50th anniversary.
- New “trick or treat” Funko POP Vinyl figures of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy are available for pre-order as part of Funkoween 2022.
- Pandora has several new bracelet charms available at Walt Disney World, inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean, Pixar characters, and more.
Disneyland Resort
- After a months-long refurbishment, Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland Park will be reopening on July 1, 2022.
- A new, lovable “Star Wars” droid has joined Disney’s Pride Collection.
- A new costume top inspired by Rey’s white outfit in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” is now available at Black Spire Outpost in Disneyland Resort.
- New pins have arrived at Disneyland Resort for the month of May, including several Pride Collection pins.
Disneyland Paris
- MCM Comic Con revealed a new piece of concept art for Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris in a tweet about a panel of Walt Disney Imagineers.
- With an announcement reportedly coming tomorrow, we have heard that Avengers Campus will be opening on June 27, 2022, at Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris.
Disney Cruise Line
- Beginning today, the Medical and Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption coverage included with a Vacation Protection Plan for Disney Cruise Line will go up from $10,000 per person to $20,000 per person.
Entertainment and Media
- Scenes were reportedly filmed for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” featuring Ghost Rider, but ultimately hit the cutting room floor.
Disney+
- “Baymax!,” the “Big Hero 6” spinoff series, officially has a release date.
- Disney+ is developing a new “Daredevil” series, with Matt Corman and Chris Ord attached to write and executive produce.
The Walt Disney Company
- Disney has filed a new patent for physical and digital effects to be reset on a ride vehicle between unload and load stations.
- George Kalogridis, the President of Segment Development and Enrichment for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, has announced his impending retirement.
- Division Chairman Josh D’Amaro has announced a reorganization of the Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products department.
