EPCOT
- A new band, The Hooligans, have come to perform at the United Kingdom Pavilion in World Showcase.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” will finally close on July 5, with the full “Festival of the Lion King” returning July 16.
- Additionally, tumble monkeys and dancing birds will return to “Festival of the Lion King” on July 16.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- A new engravable tag machine has been installed at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Disney Springs
- In honor of the upcoming National Churro Day, Disney Parks is allowing guests on the Disney Parks Blog to vote on new churro flavors to come to both Disney Springs and Downtown Disney.
New Merchandise
- For those who inexplicably want to celebrate 20 years of Journey Into Imagination with Figment, two new limited edition pins are now available at EPCOT.
- Limited edition pins featuring Goofy’s 90th Anniversary and this month’s “Floating Down Main Street, U.S.A.” pin are now on sale.
- Reyn Spooner has added a new button-up to the Vault Collection with a lovely vintage button-inspired design.
Other Walt Disney World News
- It was confirmed today that Annual Passholders will indeed have to show their My Disney Experience app to receive their discounts for food and merchandise.
- Air Canada has rethemed their kids room in their lounge at Toronto Pearson International Airport to focus on the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary.
Disneyland Resort
- The entrance to the former Tarzan’s Treehouse has been fully removed between Adventureland and New Orleans Square.
- Colorful paint-splattered apparel has cascaded into shops around Disneyland Resort.
- Terran Treats has replaced its traditional exhibition of MCU props with a Coke Starlight display.
- Hey there, hi there, ho there! Come along for our latest Disneyland Resort photo report, which features rope droppin’, walls fallin’, First Order battlin’, Star Wars snackin’, and more!
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Several new acrylic tumblers are coming on May 26 featuring designs inspired by the disposable paper cups sold throughout Tokyo Disney Resort, as well as those in Toontown.
- The next Duffy & Friends event, entitled Duffy & Friends’ Tasty Summer Surprise, will kick off June 16 at Tokyo DisneySea!
- Adorable merchandise will make port at the park to celebrate, with plenty of choices for Duffy, ShellieMay, CookieAnn, and ‘Olu Mel fans.
- And as always, souvenir treats and serveware will be available at Cape Cod Cook-Off for fans to pick up with their meal.
Disneyland Paris
- We finally have an opening date for Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Park — July 20!
- Brie Larson has been confirmed to return for a role on the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force coaster in the land.
- Disneyland Paris also released a first look at their Pym Kitchen menu which will open with Avengers Campus.
- Those who love food will be excited about the Stark Factory restaurant menu and the cooking show experience that is set to accompany.
- Additionally, a special look at the Iron Man Audio-Animatronic was released.
- Plenty of exclusive merchandise is on its way to Avengers Campus in Paris, we have a sneak peek!
- Details were revealed for three additional eateries at Avengers Campus — a diner and two food trucks.
- Excited for the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force coaster? We know a bit more about it now!
- We got a preview of the F.R.I.D.A.Y. facade on the coaster’s building as well.
- Arribas France will release special new Infinity Stones-inspired jewelry with the land’s opening.
- And last but not least, we would be remiss to not pass on information about the characters guests will be able to meet in the new land.
Shanghai Disneyland
- Rather spooky images of Shanghai Disneyland’s landscaping becoming overgrown with weeds and grass have surfaced amid the park’s two-month-long closure.
