Magic Kingdom
- It was a magical day at the Magic Kingdom in our latest photo report, which covers the Disney Pride Collection debut, new Loungefly ears, and much more.
- Walkway paving and the Walt Disney World Railroad tunnel growth continue as construction chugs along at TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland.
- “Celebrate America: A 4th of July Concert in the Sky” will return to the Magic Kingdom for the first time in three years this Fourth of July!
- New track has been laid behind Space Mountain to connect the Walt Disney World Railroad once more.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- The pools at Congress Park and the Treehouse Villas in Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will close in October for refurbishment.
- Showtimes and pricing have been released for the return of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
Disney Springs
- We headed over to Marketplace Co-Op to try some of the new Mickey Bubble Waffle sundaes which debuted this week, check out our thoughts!
New Merchandise
- A new water-resistant jacket and baby Na’vi plush have made contact at Pandora – The World of Avatar.
Other Walt Disney World News
- A new Walt Disney World Store and Disney Vacation Club Discovery Center will open on International Drive on May 31.
- On the same building, installation of the giant art screen has finally completed.
- Hours extensions have come once again for many of the Walt Disney World parks in June and early July.
Disneyland Resort
- New semi-covered seating has been installed next to the Avengers Headquarters in Avengers Campus.
- Some construction of the Pirates of the Caribbean entrance has been covered up with tarps.
- Refurbishment is also continuing on the pathways around New Orleans Square, with many walls still up.
- Disney Park Pals themed to Jack Skellington and Mr. Toad are now on sale at the Disneyland Resort!
- Also arriving today was the Disney Pride Collection Loungefly bag and belt bag.
- As we approach the premiere of Ms. Marvel on Disney+, some new apparel found its way to the Disneyland Resort this week.
Disneyland Paris
- Some new concept art was released today for Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios as opening day approaches.
- We also got a first look at concept art for PYM Kitchen.
Entertainment and Media
- One of the first clips from the upcoming “Obi-Wan Kenobi” shows a conflict between Obi-Wan and Owen Lars on Tatooine.
- “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” has been renewed for a fourth season, and season three will premiere this July!
- The ever-iconic “Glee” will make its exclusive home on Disney+ and Hulu starting June 1.
The Walt Disney Company
- At nearly half of its peak last March, Disney’s stock dipped to $100 today at its lowest point in years.
