- Virtual queue and Individual Lightning Lane selections for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind filled up almost instantly this morning, with the Boarding Groups reportedly gone within five seconds.
- In less than a minute, the afternoon Boarding Group allotments also filled up.
- The newly-updated guide map for EPCOT of course features the brand-new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which opened its doors officially today.
- As today was opening day, the walls were finally down around the courtyard for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
- Disney acknowledged today that motion sickness may be an issue for riders of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and they have now made sick bags available at the ride’s exit.
- We tried the new Awesome Drink served by Joffrey’s and inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is confirmed to be receiving new scenes at some point in the future.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Trams officially returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom this morning after 801 days, the second park at Walt Disney World to get them back.
- Shorter rolling performances of Disney KiteTails began today as the park seeks to cut down the amount of time between showings.
New Merchandise
- We have a full rundown of every new item available to commemorate opening day of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT.
- All of the general Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind merchandise (including some related to the Infinity Stones as well) is also well-documented, and there’s an absolute ton of it!
- In celebration of five years since Pandora – The World of Avatar opened, a new slate of merchandise has arrived to commemorate!
- Ashley Eckstein has designed a new Ewok-themed ear headband, which will be available at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and on shopDisney soon.
- An action figure-inspired Star Wars sling Loungefly backpack landed today at Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom.
- We got a sneak peek today of new Indiana Jones merchandise headed to the parks sometime soon.

- New “Star Wars” AR PhotoPass Lenses and Snapchat Filters are now available for guests to use.
Disneyland Resort
- Darth Sidious and Jedi Master Plo Koon Legacy Lightsaber hilts have been announced for Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.
- New looks and pieces are coming to all four tracks of the Savi’s Workshop lightsaber construction experience as part of a massive refresh.
- The Ben Solo Legacy Lightsaber Hilt will soon be retired permanently.
- Plushes themed to Rey, Gorgs, and Elee will all arrive soon at stalls around Black Spire Outpost Market.
- A Qui-Gon Jinn Legacy Lightsaber hilt is also on its way to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.
- The Mandalorian, Boba Fett, The Child (better known as Baby Yoda), and Fennec Shand will all be arriving soon at Disneyland to greet guests in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
- The Disney Parks Blog has announced that fans will once again be able to vote on their choices for the next Legacy Lightsaber hilt out of six possible Jedi.
- New Twin Moons Eclipse-themed merchandise and a Camtono Safe are both available this evening at Star Wars Nite.
- A second edition of DJ R3X’s Playlist is headed to streaming services soon featuring more music from Oga’s Cantina.
Disney Cruise Line
- Some new technologies being tested or in the works for “Star Wars” experiences aboard the Disney Wish were revealed today for the first time.
Entertainment & Media
- The first teaser trailer for “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor”, the sequel to “Fallen Order”, has released, with a full game release next year!
- “Obi-Wan Kenobi” received a content warning notice today amid the tragic mass shooting at an elementary school in Texas.
- Younglings rejoice, a new kids show “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” showing younglings learning the way of the force will debut on Disney+ and Disney Junior in spring 2023!
Other Disney News
- The LEGO version of the BD-1 droid from “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” is now available for pre-order.
- Also revealed for LEGO is an “Andor”-themed set also available for pre-order.
- Previewing a LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar for this year, we can see amusing images like Darth Vader on vacation.
- Christmas and Halloween-inspired Droid Factory figures, including an Advent calendar which will create five droids for the season, will all arrive later this year.
