- More rocks have been constructed in the Journey of Water inspired by Moana site.

- An off-duty detective saved a 5-year-old child from being beaten over buying a lightsaber by an adult guest.
- A sneak peek of the upcoming Pixar film “Lightyear” will open at Walt Disney Presents on May 20.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- The thatched roof on top of the former Spirit of Aloha building at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been removed.
- The two bridges of Stormalong Bay have been covered in scrim as their refurbishment continues.
Disney Springs
- A new Disney Springs Art Walk will be launching later this month.
New Merchandise
- New Pride pins themed to Pixar and BB-8 have come to Walt Disney World.
- Over at EPCOT, an updated version of the Minnie plush in Norway is now available with the park’s new logo.
- Even more Pandora – The World of Avatar 5th Anniversary merchandise has landed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
- We got a first look at the Enchanted Tiki Room series of Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction merchandise.
Other Walt Disney World News
- Starting June 8, Disney Genie+ will not be available for pre-purchase, instead only available on the day of.
- Additionally, Disney Genie+ will now be “subject to availability” from June 8.
- Tickets and resort hotel bookings will also be available for 2023 starting June 8.
- More details have been released about Cast Member-exclusive EARidescent Evenings through the rest of the year.
Disneyland Resort
- A new Her Universe Ms. Marvel dress has landed at Disneyland Resort.

- Mirabel from “Encanto” has returned to enchant guests at her meet and greet in Paradise Gardens Park!

- Marvel Studios has successfully acquired the rights to use Stan Lee’s likeness for the next 20 years.

- Disney released their first images and look at “Disenchantment”, which will release this Thanksgiving on Disney+.
- A new documentary based on the farewell tour of Elton John and his life in general will air on Disney+.
