Whether they’re heading to the parks, starting new business ventures, or making guest appearances in our favorite shows and movies, we like to know what’s going on. But this week, we were caught completely off guard when we learned a fun fact about a Disney star that we didn’t know. Apparently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the “best prom date!”
A few days ago, Instagram user @smilesweetsraccoon posted a series of photos from her prom. Like any other teen, she was dressed in her formal best for the occasion, but the thing that drew the attention of many was her date for the evening — a cardboard cutout of Dwayne Johnson! And just a few days later, The Rock actually shared the photos on his own Instagram account.
The caption says that The Rock is the “best date a person could ask for,” and honestly, we have to agree! Based on the pictures alone, it’s clear that he dressed up nice for the occasion, posed for pictures, and even hung out with his date’s friends. You couldn’t ask for anything better! 
We love watching celebrities interact with their followers in these fun and unique ways, and this just made us even bigger fans of The Rock! (As if we weren’t already after his performances in Jungle Cruise and Moana!)
