Construction Continues Outside Guest Relations, in World Celebration, and World Nature at EPCOT

Though EPCOT Guest Relations has reopened with a new look, construction continues outside the building and, of course, in the center of World Celebration.

There is a large section of dirt outside Guest Relations, behind construction walls.

An orange excavator sits in the dir, with other construction materials throughout the site.

Planters up against the building are empty and filled with buckets, strips of metal, and more.

The construction site of World Celebration looked flatter to us when we rode by on the EPCOT Monorail.

It seems dirt piles have been flattened out or pushed to the sides.

There are several excavators on site. Orange netting and plastic fences outline various areas.

World Celebration will house the new CommuniCore Hall and Plaza, named after original Future World Pavilions.

To the side, technically part of World Nature, will be Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana.” A steel tower structure was erected for the attraction last month.

Meanwhile, these bathrooms in World Nature are still closed for refurbishment. A construction wall surrounds the bathroom building, as well as nearby planters and sidewalks.

We can see exposed steel in the walls of the restroom through the main entrance, but not much else.

What EPCOT project are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments.

Two New Lightsaber Pommels: The Wampa and Porg

We previously found these last week over at Disneyland.

Porg Lightsaber Pommel – $24.99

The Porg hilt cap is sold as though it were lovingly hand carved by a Black Spire Artisan. It’s friendly shape and big round eyes makes it the perfect companion for any young Padawan.

The Porg was first introduced into the Star Wars universe in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, when Rey seeks out training from Master Luke on his hidden island home.

Wampa Lightsaber Pommel – $24.99

This untamed, frightening creature is none other than the monster that tried to eat Luke in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Despite it’s toothy grin, the Wampa hilt cap may be the perfect addition to any Jedi’s lightsaber. Especially if they mean business.

These feathered and furred friends are not the first hilt caps to have come out recently. Take a look at the Loth cat and Rancor that released earlier this year!

Guests can also take home various other critters from the Creature Stall!
