New 50th Anniversary Crossbody Bag Comes to Walt Disney World

The 50th anniversary celebration at Walt Disney World is still going strong, and new merchandise keeps popping up. From plush to charging kits to dresses and more, the 50th anniversary merchandise never stops. And now, it is joined by this new 50th anniversary crossbody bag. We found this at Sunset Club Couture in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

WDW 50th Anniversary Crossbody Bag — $29.99

The bag features three storage areas: the main compartment, as well as one pocket each on the front and back.

The front pocket is zippered and features the anniversary logo in iridescent gold colors.

The piping around the edges of the bag are also iridescent gold.

The main body of the bag has an all-over print featuring characters and icons from throughout the four parks.

The back side pocket is flat-shaped and has no closure. Note the TRON lightcycle as one of the park icons near the top of the pocket, despite the ride not being completed in time for the 50th anniversary.

The main compartment of the bag is zippered and features a dark blue lining.

The strap on the side is adjustable and is emblazoned with Walt Disney World in the same gold iridescent colors.

How to Have an ALL-Inclusive Disney Trip

Planning a Disney vacation takes some serious work and dedication.

Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom

It’s not as easy as it used to be — with required reservations for dining and even simply entering a Disney park, it can feel like you’re planning out your workday instead of a vacation day. But, not all Disney vacations are created equally, and we’re sharing a look at how you can have an all-inclusive Disney vacation!

While Disney may not offer what you might be thinking of in terms of traditional “all-inclusive” vacations — where you pay one price for your travel, lodging, meals, and recreation so you don’t have to open your wallet but to buy souvenirs — there are a few different options that come pretty close.

If you’re looking for that all-inclusive experience while still enjoying the Disney magic you love, here are a few ways you can do that!

Main Street, U.S.A.

Disney Cruises

The Disney Cruise Line boasts four world-class ships: the Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Magic. This summer, the Disney Wish will make its debut making it the fifth ship in the fleet!

Aboard a Disney cruise, passengers can expect to pay one price (per person) for their stateroom, all meals, snacks and ice cream, character meet and greets, and not to mention a wide variety of fantastic entertainment. Keep in mind that certain dining locations are available for an additional cost, and alcohol is not included in the all-inclusive price.

Disney Cruise Line Room

Oh, and did we mention the travel destination possibilities on a Disney cruise? Depending on the departure port, Disney Cruise Line offers a cruise to destinations for just about everyone. Salty air, sandy beaches, and palm trees in your future? Head to the Bahamas or Caribbean! Thinking something more along the lines of an Alaskan cruise? That’s an option, too — plus so much more.

Adventures by Disney

Did you know there’s a way to have a magical Disney vacation while outside of a Disney cruise or theme park?! Adventures by Disney offers vacation packages all across the world complete with professional Disney guides to help you along your adventure.

You can book land adventures in Africa, Asia, Central & South America, Europe, North America, and even Polar regions like Antarctica! Plus, there are river cruises and other trip options as well. Depending on the trip you choose meals are sometimes included, but all accommodations, fees, transportation, and experiences on your trip are included.

Flights can also be booked through Adventures by Disney, which can make it a one-stop shop for the magical vacation of your dreams! Not to mention, there are often discounts and deals available on select packages.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel

Since opening on March 1st, 2022, Disney’s Star Wars Hotel has been impressing guests with its innovative and immersive experience. This new Resort experience offers a two-day, two-night itinerary that includes a wide variety of activities and dining experiences all themed around Star Wars.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

A stay on Disney’s Galactic Starcruiser includes 2-nights of accommodation, food and non-alcoholic drinks, entertainment, admission to Hollywood Studios (plus a meal at Docking Bay 7 or other quick-service spots in Hollywood Studios), and an exclusive Starcruiser MagicBand. Not to mention, there’s a whole slew of add-on experiences available on the Galactic Starcruiser!

Dining on the Galactic Starcruiser

Unfortunately, admission to other Disney World parks is not included in the cost of your Galactic Starcruiser voyage, but additional park tickets can be added to your reservation if you want to make this a true Disney World vacation.

Disney World Vacation Packages

If you’ve planned a trip to Disney World before, you probably know that the website offers more than just the option to buy park tickets. You can book your Disney Resort hotel accommodations, buy your park tickets, and even book airfare and transportation all at once!

Disney’s Riviera Resort

But, what about food being included in these vacation packages? Well, this one is tricky. At the time of writing, the Disney Dining Plan has yet to return to the parks, and although Disney has confirmed that it WILL come back they’ve yet to share a timeline.

When it was available, the Disney Dining Plan could be purchased ahead of time and added onto your Disney Vacation Package and offers different plans depending on your needs and the need of your family.

We love a good Disney buffet!

Think of Disney Vacation Packages like a la carte “build-you-own” all-inclusive vacations — at least when the dining plan eventually returns they will be!

PHOTOS, VIDEO: ‘Fantasmic!’ Finally Returns to Disneyland

Welcome back to “Fantasmic!”

Tonight, our friend and host Mickey Mouse used his vivid imagination to create magical imagery for all to enjoy. In a moment, you can experience a beautiful fantasy or an exciting adventure! But beware, nothing is more powerful than the imagination, for it also expanded Mickey’s greatest fears into an overwhelming nightmare.

Luckily, the powers of Mickey’s incredible imagination were strong enough, and bright enough, to withstand the evil forces that invaded his dream. This is Fantasmic!, a journey beyond your wildest imagination. And it has at long last returned to Disneyland.

After more than two years off, Mickey is finally imagining again. Just like Steamboat Willie reappearing on the Mark Twain after his battle with Maleficent just like nothing has happened, so too did Fantasmic! return to the Rivers of America, and it felt like no time has passed.

The show closed with the rest of the park in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, there has been several months of work to bring the equipment back online in preparation of the show’s return. New Orleans Square has also had a fair share of work done to better accommodate the crowds for the show.

The show is virtually unchanged from the pre-pandemic run, with all of the new sequences added in “Fantasmic! 2.0” intact.

Some smaller elements did change, such as a screen behind Mickey Mouse during some segments. There were also some choreography changes, but nothing major.

And at the very end, as always, Mickey was still able to defeat the evils inside of his dream.

We watched the first official show back tonight at Disneyland, and you can watch along with us on our YouTube page, or by clicking the video below:

Are you excited to see Fantasmic! return? Let us know in the comments below.
