It’s been a BUSY week in EPCOT!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Crowds arrived in mass over Memorial Day weekend, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind had a successful opening weekend as well. EPCOT is going through a massive transformation, and that means there’s always something new to see. So, let’s take another look at what’s new in EPCOT!
EPCOT Food Updates
Over in the China Pavilion, we stopped by Lotus Blossom Cafe for a quick bite and noticed that they had a new beer special!
Beer Special
The Watermelon Dragonfruit Burst from Wicked Weed Brewing is $9 and sounds like it would be super refreshing for a hot summer day!
EPCOT Construction Updates
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is officially open! We were there on opening day to take it all in. The attraction is using a virtual queue for now, or you can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane to catch a ride.
Saving the Galaxy!
The World Celebration Guest Relations location got an exciting new update!
A refreshed look.
The new look matches the rest of the updates that have recently been made to the World Celebration neighborhood like Creations Shop and Connections Cafe and Eatery.
The old EPCOT logo!
There’s also a new Braille map located outside of the World Celebration Guest Relations!

The Encanto walk-through garden is missing! This isn’t surprising as the Flower and Garden Festival is sadly coming to an end.
The ‘Encanto’ gardens are gone.
Over in EPCOT’s World Nature neighborhood, things are a bit rocky at Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana… but in a good way! Every time we think they might be done adding rocks, we spot some more.
Moana attraction construction — Late May 2022
Disney hasn’t shared just when we might expect this immersive, water-based attraction to open.
