‘Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures’ Coming Spring 2023 to Disney+ and Disney Junior

If you ever wanted a more appropriate way to introduce your younglings to the “Star Wars” universe, a new series in production and announced today might just be perfect! “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” is a new series to fill that void, debuting next spring.

The series takes place during the High Republic era (around 200 years before the Skywalker Saga begins) and focuses on younglings in the Jedi Order training in the ways of the Force. During their adventures, they learn compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship together.

This announcement came among a slew of other “Star Wars” reveals during Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, like the first trailer for “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor”.

“Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” debuts in spring 2023 on both Disney+ and Disney Junior. Are you excited to see a “Star Wars” series for kids? Let us know in the comments below!

‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Receives Content Warning on Disney+ Following Texas School Shooting

Just days after “Obi-Wan Kenobi” released its first two episodes on Disney+, a new content warning appeared on the show’s detail page warning that some viewers may find its content “upsetting.”

The full warning reads “There are certain scenes in this fictional series that some viewers may find upsetting.”

This change appears to be linked to the mass shooting tragedy at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas earlier this week where nineteen children were killed.

Variety reports that the warning previously made a more explicit mention to this angle, reading “Although this fictional series is a continuation of the story from Star Wars movies filmed many years ago, some scenes may be upsetting to viewers in light of the recent tragic events. Warning: Contains violence involving children.”

New Technologies Previewed for Star Wars: Cargo Bay and Hyperspace Lounge Aboard Disney Wish

During the Parks Panel at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, plenty of new details were revealed surrounding the upcoming Star Wars: Cargo Bay and Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, both of which are new experiences aboard the Disney Wish cruise ship sailing this summer.

Star Wars: Cargo Bay

In the kids area Star Wars: Cargo Bay, kids will take on the important role of creature handlers as they learn to manage a mischievous menagerie of exotic beings from across the galaxy, including a porg, Loth-cat, worrt and more. During the interactive “Star Wars: Creature Challenge” experience, the newly minted caretakers will be put to the test as they help feed the lifelike creatures and encounter some of the most dangerous beings in the galaxy.

During the panel, we got a short peek at the new Porgs that kids will get to interact with aboard the Disney Wish.

Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge

Meanwhile over at the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, the folks at Imagineering are testing out some new ideas which may or may not make it aboard. One such idea is to serve drinks in a Camtono Safe as seen in “The Mandalorian” (and as will go on sale soon at Disneyland). We got a peek at what they’re testing, although there’s no confirmation on whether this will actually be part of the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge experience.
