It was just announced that The Mandalorian, Grogu, Boba Fett, and Fennec Shand will be coming to Batuu. Boba Fett and Fennec Shand will be starting tomorrow.
From the official press release: “The legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand will soon stake a claim in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park. Starting tomorrow, May 28th, visitors may find themselves encountering these two attempting to remain in the shadows around Black Spire outpost. Din Djarin, known as the Mandalorian, and Grogu, the child who found protection with Mando, also will journey to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park at a later date. Mando, Grogu and their journey together can be seen in the first two seasons of “The Mandalorian” on Disney+.
We are committed to the long history of Batuu and the collection of amazing characters who inhabit the outpost including our legacy characters and original characters and know that we will feel the same about new and future characters from the ever-expanding galaxy of Star Wars storytelling. While we as visitors may be able to experience different stories throughout Star Wars history, the characters on Batuu can not. They will remain in their specific story and timeline and won’t intersect with other characters or stories that would not be appropriate for them.”
At this time, these appearances have only been confirmed for Disneyland Resort.

During a panel some speakers spoke the the fact that new SCENES could be in the works for Star Tours. (You read that right!) We don’t have very many details on what scenes will be added or when. But this is an exciting update nonetheless.

During the panel, when speaking on updates previously made the the attraction Scott Trowbridge said: “And uhhh…so are we done?” And Matt Martin says: “You know what, I think we’re gonna do some more.” Scott then said:
“One of the great things about this format is star wars storytelling is continuing to grow and expand, and Star Tours is one of those great experiences that can grow and expand along with the storytelling as we go to new places and meet new characters and have new adventures.”For now, these are the small and few details we have but it’s exciting to think about nonetheless!

According to a panel at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, new destinations will soon be added to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue.
During the Parks Panel at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Scott Trowbridge said of Star Tours on stage “And so are we done? You know what, I think we’re going to do some more [scenes].”
In the “Rise of Skywalker” scenes, Starspeeders now head to the ocean moon known as Kef Bir, which is where we meet Jannah, a human female freedom fighter who, by the time of the First Order–Resistance war, led a tribe of brave and noble warriors. This is also the wreckage site of the Death Star II. Star Tours also finds itself in the middle of the battle at Exegol, putting guests in the middle of a famous battle similar to the original Death Star run in the original version of Star Tours.
Currently, there are five options for first and second sequence planets each — three inspired by the Prequel Trilogy and two by the Sequels for each set. We have no details at present on the new scenes and where they may take inspiration from, nor which parks will be receiving these new scenes. Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is currently installed at Disneyland, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris.
