Plo Koon, Darth Sidious, and Qui-Gon Jinn Legacy Lightsaber Hilts Coming Soon to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Three new Legacy Lightsaber hilts were revealed today at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim as coming soon to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities for travelers to choose at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Three major characters are finally going to be represented — Jedi Master Plo Koon, Darth Sidious, and Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn.

First up, Jedi Master Plo Koon, a Kel Dor who was a recurring character in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” Plo Koon’s lightsaber appears to be primarily silver, with a blue tint at the bottom.

Who could ever forget the influence of Jedi Master turned Sith Lord and Emperor Darth Sidious? His sleek silver. black, and gold lightsaber bears a streamlined design compared to more utilitarian appearances from many of the Jedi.

And finally, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn gets his due with his mostly black lightsaber with silver accents. Qui-Gon Jinn only made an appearance in “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace” as Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Master, but his character is still widely beloved to this day.

All three of these Legacy Lightsaber hilts will be available soon from Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, although no exact release date was announced.

Will you be adding any of these to your collection? Let us know in the comments below!

New Halloween & Christmas-Inspired ‘Star Wars’ Droid Figures, Advent Calendar Coming This Year

This year, you can pick up new holiday-inspired droid figurines as we approach spooky season and the holidays! We got a sneak preview of these new items during Star Wars Celebration Anaheim courtesy of Jedi News at SWCA on Twitter.

All told, there are individual droids for both Halloween and Christmas, as well as a droid set for Halloween and an Advent Calendar for Christmas.

First up is a new vampire-inspired droid R7-FNG. he looks like a traditional Astromech droid with a white head and a purple body.

A series of other Halloween-inspired droids ranging the gamut of bats to candy corn, skeletons, and green slime will also be available as a packaged set. The droids will be R2-BOO, R3-BOO17, R4-BOO18, and R5-BOO19.

Around the holidays, we’ll also see the snowman-inspired R6-SN0, complete with a scarf and top hat.

And the new advent calendar coming this year will reportedly create five droids from the different parts within. The casing itself is inspired by a Sandcrawler, and we can see Jawas celebrating the holidays on board on the reverse.

All four of these items will be available sometime later this year, so keep an eye out! And let us know what you think in the comments below!

New Rey, Gorg, & Elee Plushes Coming Soon to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Plenty of new merchandise announcements are on their way out of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim today, and we have three more new pieces coming straight for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge fairly soon. On their way to Batuu are a Rey plush and two new creatures — Gorgs and Elee.

First on the list, shared by Jedi News at SWCA on Twitter, is a new Rey doll which will make its way to Toydarian Toymakers on Batuu soon.

Two new creatures were also unveiled — first a Gorg, which appears to be some sort of frog-lizard hybrid and a favorite snack of Jabba the Hutt. You’ll be able to find this at the Creature Stall soon. This image also comes courtesy of Jedi News at SWCA.

And second, an Elee plush. Elee is part of the backstory for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and was even the subject of a park-exclusive childrens book “Elee & Me” which released in 2020. Reportedly, Elee was to be a part of a third attraction on which guests could ride Banthas around Black Spire Outpost, but that attraction was dropped during development for budget reasons. It’s your last chance! According to the Galaxy’s Edge merchandise panel at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, the Ben Solo Legacy Lightsaber hilt first introduced in 2019 will soon be retired permanently. This means it’s your last chance to pick up this classic look from before Ben Solo turned to the dark side and became Kylo Ren.

The news came to us courtesy of Jedi News at SWCA on Twitter. The Ben Solo hilt is seen in the lower section, and is currently available on both coasts for $139.99, but it won’t be forever. It first released in 2019 around the same time as “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” alongside the Reforged Skywalker lightsaber hilt.
