Radiator Springs Racers Closed Due to Smoke in Disneyland

There’s so much to see and experience in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure!

Radiator Springs Racers

We’re always finding new snacks to try and make sure to update you all on the ride and restaurant reopenings we see. However, we’ve got an unexpected ride CLOSURE to share with you all, and we’re not sure when it will end.

According to The Orange County Register, guests in Disney’s California Adventure on Tuesday witnessed smoke coming out of one of the cars of Radiator Springs Racers after it crossed the finish line.

Off they go!

No guests were harmed, and a Disneyland spokesperson confirmed there was an issue with a single vehicle and that the ride would remain closed indefinitely out of an abundance of caution. The spokesperson also said that guests in the park over the weekend may see testing occurring.

Radiator Springs Racers

Currently, the Disneyland website shows hours for the attraction starting on May 30th. We will monitor the situation and let you know when this ride is back up and running!
