Construction has begun on replacing the pavement of Center Street off Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom.
Center Street is a short off-shoot of Main Street that usually has some tables and chairs available.
Short construction walls now block the seating area.
The walls are near the end of the street, so the side exits of the stores on either side are still open.
We could easily see over the construction walls. The brick road has been torn up, revealing dirt underneath.
The pink sidewalk remains intact.
The silhouette artist kiosk was closed this morning but not blocked off. The street will likely be worked on in phases. The construction is expected to take about four weeks.
