Greetings from the Disneyland Resort! We’re here to check out everything that’s new in the parks, and we want you right there with us. Let’s go!
Downtown Disney
Construction is still underway on the west side of Downtown Disney District. We can only see the walls from the ground, but you can read more about the demolition progress and see concept art here.
After a walk through the shops at Downtown Disney, we jumped on the monorail to head into Disneyland.
Is that water we see in the Nemo Submarine ride? Check here for all the updates!
The monorail dropped us off in Tomorrowland, so we headed over to the Star Trader for a look around.
We immediately spotted these new superhero Marvel crop tops. One for Captain America, one for Black Panther, both perfect for a day at Avengers Campus. Take a look at them up close here.
From there, we headed over to Fantasyland. The snapdragons outside “it’s a small world” were so vibrant, we had to snap a pic.
Still no sign over at Toontown, but look, there goes the train! Hello there!
Now we’ll head over to Galaxy’s Edge; maybe Dok-Ondar has something new for us.
We are in luck; there are a couple of truly excellent items here at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. First up, you can own your own mini Sarlacc! It even has a handle for easy transport. Read more about this interactive Sarlacc here.
This next item might be one of our favorites we’ve seen here at Dok Ondar’s, Darth Vader’s partially melted helmet. Check it out.
Next, we strolled over to New Orleans Square to see if any walls had come down yet.
No, still a plethora of walls over here.
Disney California Adventure
Walls have been added around the façade of The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. Read more about it here.
It’s a beautiful, sunny day at Pixar Pier.
We caught a viewing of the Dr. Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts show over at Avengers Campus. It’s always a treat to visit the Inner Sanctum. You can see the full show on our YouTube channel or by clicking the video below:
That concludes today at Disneyland for us. Thanks for joining; see you next time! Leave a comment below!
