Disney snacks are good, but Mickey-shaped Disney snacks? Now, those are NEXT. LEVEL. good!

And, speaking of Mickey-shaped treats, Mickey Beignets are one of the most iconic and you can find them in both Disney World AND Disneyland. If you’re on the west coast, you’ll have to head to the Mint Julep Bar which features Mickey-shaped beignets in a whole bunch of unique flavors! We’ve seen Beignet flavors Pumpkin Spice Beignets, Candy Cane Beignets, Cookie Butter Beignets, and Chocolate-Strawberry Beignets. Plus, we’ve also tried some fun Mint Julep flavors here like a Strawberry Julep and a Cranberry Julep to wash down those Beignets! And, now there’s a NEW flavor of both in town — so we headed over to give ’em a try!

If you’re not familiar, the Mint Julep Bar is located at New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park. This location is famous for its interesting Beignet and Mint Julep flavors, as well as its very long lines. But, with new Mickey Beignets on the line, we were willing to wait!

The newest flavor to the lineup is the Banana Mickey-shaped Beignets! They’re basically the regular Mickey Beignets, but they get their banana taste from being rolled in Banana Powdered Sugar. You can buy them in a 3-pack for $5.49, or a 6-pack for $8.99. And, we opted to add a side of Caramel Crème Anglaise Dipping Sauce for $0.99!

Now, we won’t lie — we were a little unsure about banana powdered sugar but all our doubts were quickly whisked away after just one bite! They were PACKED with banana flavor and tasted just like Banana Laffy Taffys (the superior Laffy Taffy flavor if you ask us). Pair that with the fact that they’re served nice and warm and then dipped in that delicious caramel sauce and you might find us reaching for these instead of the OG while they’re available!

And, sticking on the fruity treat train, there’s also a new Passion Fruit Mint Julep here for $5.49! It is a refreshing blend of Passion Fruit, Mint, and a hint of Lime.

There have been several iterations of the mint julep here throughout the years, but this one might rank as one of our favorites! As expected, the passion fruit was the main flavor here but it really worked for us.

You can order both options on the Disneyland App to save some time (and avoid the long line) or hop in line to give them a try! They’re both seasonal offerings so they may not be around for long. And, be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more of the latest food reviews and updates!
