Connections Eatery is a new quick-service location at Epcot, and I finally got to eat there. I have some food sensitivities, so I wanted to know if Connections Eatery had any good allergy-friendly options. Ever since this new location opened, I have wanted nothing more than to see it in person and hear that classic Epcot music being played. I immediately fell in love with this place because there are so many nooks and crannies to relax and many charging ports.
I mobile ordered my Nicoise-style Salad from the allergy-friendly section of the menu on the My Disney Experience app. At this moment, I have to avoid gluten which makes me so upset because I want to try the Curry Spice Pizza, but it’s okay; maybe soon I can. This salad is made with crispy mixed greens, wedged potatoes, tomatoes, green beans, olives, and white beans topped with dijon vinaigrette. I enjoyed the salad because it’s more than just lettuce like at other quick-service locations and has so much flavor. My favorite part was the wedged potatoes because they were seasoned well. I also love that this salad kept me full for a while because sometimes, after eating a salad, I’ll be hungry in 30 minutes.
This is an excellent option for anyone with food allergies or on a plant-based diet. They have several allergy-friendly options, which is great to see, but most of them have meat, so I wouldn’t be able to try them. Hopefully, next time I pop into Connections Eatery, I can try the Curry Spice Pizza. Next time you step into Epcot, take a little walk over to Connections Eatery and check out what they offer. Make sure you take a minute to look through the glass windows and watch the Cast Members make the most beautiful waffles ever.
