It’s a good day in Disneyland when we get to try new foods!

From churros to beignets to drinking out of a lightbulb (yes, seriously), Disneyland knows food. We visited recently to try two new items at a popular quick service restaurant in Disneyland Park, so read on to find out what we thought!

Hungry Bear Restaurant is a great place to stop in Disneyland for burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and more, and you can also take a break during your busy day for a great view of the Rivers of America. This restaurant recently added two new items to their menu, so we headed over there to try them out!

First up is the Peach Honey Tea Slush for $5.99, which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. It’s a peach slushy topped with honey, sweetened peaches, and whipped cream.

This slushie was very sweet with a strong peach flavor, and the honey really added to the overall sweetness of the drink. Basically, it’s all peach with a hint of honey. We thought the diced peaches were sweet and juicy, and it was a really refreshing drink. If you love peaches and sweet drinks, this is a great option on those hot California days!

Next up is the Chili Mac Cheeseburger for $15.49, which is a 1/3 pound Angus chuck patty with homestyle chili, mac and cheese bites, American cheese, and fried onions. You can pick one side with the options of a Cutie orange, French fries, or onion rings.

Sadly, there wasn’t really anything we loved about this burger. The patty was dry, the cheese wasn’t fully melted, and the chili flavor was so strong that we couldn’t taste the mac and cheese bites. The chili also made the bun soggy and the burger REALLY messy to eat. If you love chili you might want to give it a try, but otherwise, we’d say this burger is worth a skip.
