Happy May 4th! May the force be with you!
There are so many ways to celebrate May 4th, like a ride on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, a conversation with passing Stormtroopers, or even the Star Wars Nite in Disneyland (if you were able to grab a ticket)! But the galactic fun doesn’t stop there! There are also a ton of treats that have popped up all over Disney Parks, including one treat that celebrates everyone’s favorite hunk of junk.
Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has a new frozen Star Wars-inspired treat that’s only available today! The Millennium Falcon Star Wars Soft Serve Sundae is $5.99, and it’s kind of a lot. This space sundae is made with galactic gray vanilla soft-serve with chocolate cream cookie crumbles, chocolate drizzle, white chocolate pearl stars, brownie asteroid pieces with stardust sparkles, and a Millennium Falcon chocolate accent piece (PHEW).
We weren’t sure what to expect with a sundae that has so many ingredients, but we really enjoyed this! The vanilla and brownie pieces were a match made in heaven, and if you love cookies ‘n’ cream flavors you will definitely be satisfied with this sweet treat.
We recommend scooping all the way to the bottom of the cup for your first bite because otherwise the top is mostly dry cookie crumbs. When you combine everything in one bite it’s chef’s kiss.
The stardust was super fun and kind of reminded us of warp speed when some of it blew off the sundae. Kids would absolutely love this treat (it is ice cream after all) but the white chocolate pearls and the Millennium Falcon chocolate medallion really add to the experience.
We thought this sundae was a really good size for the price and if you’re a Star Wars fan, you might enjoy this sundae based on looks alone. Hello, you get to EAT the Millennium Falcon! If you’re not into vanilla soft serve with chocolate cookies, you probably want to skip it.
If you want to give the Millennium Falcon Star Wars Soft Serve Sundae a try, be sure to visit Pineapple Lanai ASAP as it’s only being offered today! And stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney news!
