Is it just us or does Disneyland seem to get more characters, more merchandise, and more special food than Disney World?
Not that we’re complaining because we love that the two resorts each have their very own unique experiences. We recently spent some time in Disneyland checking out all the NEW stuff (and there’s A LOT), so let’s get you updated on ALL the Disneyland updates.
Disneyland Food Updates
Jolly Holiday Bakery
We tried yet ANOTHER Main Street Electrical Parade snack at Disneyland (SO many snacks, y’all). This time, it was the Parade Macaron for $5.99. It’s a yellow macaron filled with honey buttercream and lemon curd, topped with rainbow sprinkles and a Main Street Electrical Parade drum decoration!
This is one macaron that’s, well, SWEET. But we found that the lemon curd helped cut that sweet with some tartness.

Tomorrowland Churro Cart
We got to try out the Green Apple Churro with Caramel Dipping Sauce. Here’s the thing, though — we didn’t taste anything apple in this snack, and that was disappointing. It’s rolled in Green Apple-Flavored Sugar, but that didn’t give it much flavor.
If you’d like to try it for yourself, though, it’s available now for $5.75.

Critter Country Churro Cart
That wasn’t the only churro we had, though. We also tried the Berries and Cream Churro, which is a Churro rolled in blue raspberry and strawberry-flavored sugars and served with a fluffy vanilla cream dipping sauce for $6.75.
This is another SUPER sweet churro (we guess it’s all that sugar?). The fruit flavors also tasted a little artificial to us, but we loved the dipping sauce.

Milk Stand
Y’all. We found a good alternative to Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies on the West Coast (because we don’t have a Gideons!). It’s the Chocolate Chip Sweet Sand Cookie and you can get it at the Milk Stand in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! It’s a chocolate chip-toffee cookie with pistachios and sea salt for $3.69.
It wasn’t EXACTLY like a Gideon’s cookie, but it was close enough to make us happy!

Kat Saka’s Kettle
We tried a new popcorn at Kat Saka’s, the Shaak Cheese Popped Grains (seriously, Disney, you had us at CHEESE). Basically, this is just White Cheddar Popcorn, but again, it’s CHEESE, so we’re in. It was delicious and fresh and may be our new favorite popcorn at Kat Saka’s.
You can get a bag now for $6.69 — your cheese-loving heart will love it!

Snack Cart
We tried the Lightsaber Pretzels from the Snack Cart for $12. These are Pretzel Sticks dipped in chocolate and then rolled in colored sugar, made to look like lightsabers. They come in a pack of five in various colors.
However, these are really just regular chocolate-dipped pretzels with loads of colored sugar. The only real selling point here is that they look like lightsabers, which does make them pretty cool.
