While we love the Disney parks, there’s just something so special about a Disney Cruise!
Just this month we’ve seen Disney update their Covid guidelines for their cruises, and seen that cruises to Alaska will return soon! And if you feel you need to be caught up on everything new before you go on another Disney Cruise, we’ve got you covered. But now, we’ve got the insanely exciting news that the Disney Wish has been approved to arrive at Port Canaveral in June!
According to Click Orlando, the new ship is set to begin sailing in July with 3 and 4 night cruises. Commissioners unanimously approved three days of special events for the new ship on Wednesday, the first one being the ship’s arrival on June 20th between 4AM and 7AM at cruise terminals 8 and 10.
A christening ceremony will follow on June 29th, and a cruise for media and travel experts will take place the next day. The maiden voyage is scheduled for July 14th, and a water salute will be included! As this new ship arrives, the Disney Dream will be leaving Port Canaveral on June 6th and heading to Miami.
We are so excited to experience all this new ship has to offer, so stay tuned to DFB for our updates on any and all things Disney Wish!
