Do you know what time it is?! We said: do you know what time it is?! No? Well, it’s time for you to sit down, put up those feet, and take a virtual trip to Disney with us for all of the latest news!
If you haven’t been keeping a close eye on Disney news lately, we have some BIG updates for you! We’re talking Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party news, the return of more character meet-and-greets, and so. much. more. So let’s get into our round-up of the biggest Disney news from this week!
1 — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is Coming BACK
We start with some HUGE news. This year, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning, and it looks like “classic” parties are returning for the holidays too. Disney has announced that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be coming BACK to Disney World this year!
There will be a stage show, holiday fireworks, ride overlays, and so much more! To see full details about what’s returning to the party, click here.
The party will be offered on select nights from November 8th through December 22nd, and ticket prices range from $149 – $199 per person.

2 — EPCOT Festival of the Holidays NEWS
Also returning this year is EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays. Disney has announced that the Festival will be coming back to EPCOT starting on November 25th, 2022 (though an end date has yet to be shared).
Returning to the Festival is the Cookie Stroll, Candlelight Processional, holiday kitchens (a.k.a. food booths), and more!

3 — A Guardians of the Galaxy Ride CHANGE and More!
But wait…there’s even more holiday news we have to share!
For starters, over in EPCOT, during the holiday season, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will get an extra festive change! During the holiday season, guests will actually get to hear a mash-up of seasonal music while on the ride (instead of the ride’s regular soundtrack options). We can’t wait to hear what songs will be included!
This week, Disney also shared a first look at some new (and interesting) holiday merch that’ll be available this year, including a Loungefly bag and some spirit jerseys!
For all you Minnie ear collectors out there, Disney also shared a sneak peek at some new holiday ears and they’re ones you’ll either love…or totally HATE.
We’re getting ready for the holiday season (yes, already ) so be sure to stay tuned for all of the latest updates!

4 — HUGE Meet-and-Greet Updates
Disney World is also about to get some HUGE updates when it comes to character meet-and-greets. For starters, more meet-and-greets are returning over the next several months. Characters will be coming back to Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Magic Kingdom, and on July 10th some characters will return to Fantasyland (including Peter Pan!). Other characters, like Aladdin and Jasmine, are also set to return to the park soon.
At Animal Kingdom, Donald’s Dino-Bash will be back soon, and at Hollywood Studios some Toy Story toys will be meeting guests once again. So basically, have those cameras and character autograph books ready!
At Magic Kingdom things are also changing when it comes to meeting Mickey Mouse. Soon, Minnie Mouse herself will be joining Mickey at Town Square Theater!
In Hollywood Studios, Darth Vader is coming back, along with Chewbacca and BB8, over at Launch Bay.
Also, Chip ‘n Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long is coming back to Fort Wilderness, and Mirabel is coming to Disney World with an appearance in the Adventure Friends Cavalcade in Magic Kingdom.
WHEW. That’s quite the set of character news!
