Crews have demolished more of the building that once housed the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
A few days ago, we saw the beginnings of the demolition. Now even more of the building has been destroyed.
The air conditioner units from the back of the building are gone, giving us a clearer look at the demolition site from the Monorail.
Three large dumpsters hold some of the rubble, but still more is in piles on either side of a construction vehicle.
Most of the building has been knocked down, leaving only the front. We can actually see straight through to a railing on the other side.
Disney announced earlier this year that Spirit of Aloha was permanently closed and later filed a permit for demolition. A new Disney Vacation Club wing will replace the demolished Spirit of Aloha building.
