Demolition of the Spirit of Aloha dinner show building is almost complete at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
The building is being knocked down to make room for a new Disney Vacation Club wing.
From the Monorail, guests can see the demolition site. A construction vehicle sits next to what remains of the front of the building.
We can actually see straight through the building’s remnants to the other side.
Debris is piled to the sides and in three blue dumpsters.
We didn’t see crew members at the demolition site this morning.
Disney announced earlier this year that Spirit of Aloha was permanently closed and later filed a permit for demolition. How do you feel about the show ending? Let us know in the comments.
