Summer is in full swing in Disney World, and that means summer crowds have arrived in the parks, too!
With so much to see and do — from brand new attractions and restaurants to exciting new shows premiering — you might be thinking about planning a trip to the parks as well. Disney World is constantly changing, and it’s important to stay updated on everything going on so you can be prepared for your visit. We’ve rounded up the biggest Disney World construction updates from this week so you can know before you go.
Magic Kingdom
TRON: Lightcycle Run
Slowly but surely, we’re seeing more and more progress being made over at the TRON coaster. Large trucks and equipment have moved in, so we should be in for some more work soon!
For now, the canopy structure appears to be complete and we’ve even caught ride vehicle testing, but Disney still hasn’t shared an opening timeline for this attraction.
Everything You Need to Know About the TRON Ride!
Walt Disney World Railroad
The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for quite a while due to the construction on TRON, but we’re finally seeing some progress being made in the form of new tracks!
We’ve spotted them over at the Fantasyland Station and other areas near TRON as well!
Center Street
Over on Main Street, U.S.A., the seating area near Crystal Arts has been walled off for a bit of refurbishment.
Disney hasn’t shared word on what’s going on here, but we’ll keep an eye out for updates.

EPCOT
Festival Booths
A few EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Booths have started popping up all around the World Showcase! We’ve seen this mystery booth…
…what appears to be the India Booth, and a few others as well!
The Food and Wine Festival isn’t scheduled to begin until July 14th, but we’ll be looking out for any additional booths in the meantime.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Toy Story Mania Gift Shop
Over in Hollywood Studios, guests exiting Toy Story Mania are still being required to exit the attraction via a detour, thanks to the current construction on the Toy Story Mania Gift shop.
Disney hasn’t shared any details about what is taking the gift shop’s place, so stay tuned for updates!
