When MagicBand+ officially debuts this year (we got to use some when they accidentally went on sale early), a new bounty hunters game will be available in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Construction walls and now rolling planters have blocked a station for “Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters.” We previously spotted a console on the wall through the planters.
When we looked through the planters today, we saw that the screens have now been turned on and instructions for using MagicBand+ are on the side of the console. The MagicBand tap point is below the instructions.
The instructions include diagrams and written instructions reading:
- Tap your band below to accept a job
- Follow the signal, that leads to the target
- Purple means you located the target
- Activate thermal viewer to confirm [Smaller words are illegible at this distance]
- Visit the Guildmaster’s Hideout on your right to collect your credits
Hopefully, the game won’t just rely on colors and will also use different vibrations to be more accessible to guests with vision-related disabilities such as color blindness.
Right now, the screen reads “System Unavailable” and “System is down at this time, please try again later.” It flickers, but the image and words aren’t changing. The Aurubesh on the bottom reads “Error.”
