The Darth Sidious legacy lightsaber hilt is now available at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. Disney announced this hilt at Star Wars Celebration last month. This is the first legacy lightsaber hilt to be rechargeable.
Darth Sidious Legacy Lightsaber Hilt – $159.99
This hilt is mainly silver, with long oval depressions down the sides.
The sliding switch is within one of the depressions.
The top of the hilt, where the blade is attached, has golden rings around it.
There is a bronze belt clip near the end.
There are green and red bumps on either side of the hilt, near the top.
The end cap is gold with a piece sticking out of the bottom.
The belt clip unscrews and the cap comes off. This is where the speaker is hidden and the port for charging connects.
Guests must purchase a lightsaber blade separately. They are $25 for a 24″ blade or $50 each for a 31″ or 36″ blade.
The hilt comes in a black case decorated with the feather-like Sith Eternal logo.
This hilt is also available at Walt Disney World. Disney also announced the Plo Koon and Qui-Gon Jinn legacy lightsaber hilts at Star Wars Celebration.
