After Disney World’s historic closure and reopening two years ago, we’re still waiting on some things to return to normal at the parks.

There are still some shows that haven’t returned (yes, we’re looking at you Fantasmic!). We’re still waiting on certain restaurants to open! We’re also still waiting on the return of Minnie Vans, although Disney recently said they would return this summer. But now, we know exactly WHEN Minnie vans will be back at Disney World!

Minnie Vans will be back at Disney World on June 29th, 2022!

If you don’t know what Minnie Vans are, here’s a quick explainer: they’re Lyft-operated rideshare vehicles designed to look like Minnie Mouse. They provide direct and private transportation around Disney World property, as well as to and from Disney World and Orlando International Airport and between Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line Terminal in Port Canaveral.

Previously (before the closures), Minnie Vans cost $15 plus a per-mile fee starting at $2.75 per mile. Trips to and from Orlando Airport were $155 one-way and trips to and from Port Canaveral were $249 one-way. We’re still waiting on updated pricing from Disney, so we’ll let you know as soon as it’s announced.

Rides around Disney property are booked directly through the Lyft app. For Orlando Airport trips, you can call 407-WDW-PLAY. And, for trips to the Disney Cruise Line Terminal, you’ll need to book directly with Embarkation Services.
