One can never have too many pairs of Minnie ears, can they?
So many choices!
We’ve seen some pretty amazing ears recently, too — we went NUTS over the Scarlet Witch ears when they were released online (and when we found them at Disney World yesterday). We thought the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction Mad Tea Party ears were totally adorable. Ewok ears? We’re in! But the ears we saw today…well…we have questions.
So the newest Marvel movie, Thor: Love and Thunder, releases on July 8th. It was only a matter of time before we saw new Thor merchandise turn up in the parks and online. So when we saw the Mighty Thor Mickey Ears this morning on shopDisney, we thought, “Hey, those are…interesting.” But then we saw those ears in person, and well…you can see for yourself.

So we’re not entirely sure how we feel about these ears. They’ve got a little cap on them with the Thor symbol.

The ears are wrapped in a crinkly red fabric with a printed wing in front of them, similar to Thor’s helmet.

The headband is embroidered with the word “Mighty.”

The back is just plain…and here’s where we start questioning things. The quality of these ears just doesn’t seem to be up to par with Disney’s usual standards. Even some of the stitching is uneven and the back sort of bunches up.
Um…
We also tried them on and the cap gives them a really weird fit — they don’t quite sit on the head right. Maybe these would work better on kids’ heads?
