Howard Stern seemed to accidentally confirm on his SiriusXM radio show that he will be portraying Marvel’s Doctor Doom or a character in a Doom-related project.
During a commercial break, Stern’s mic was still hot when he was asked if he was going to be working this summer and he said, “I’m going to do Doctor Doom.” Listen in the embedded tweet from user @UpToTASK below (or click here).
Stern says he called Robert Downey Jr. for advice on acting, and also seemed to reference Jon Favreau.
Since Stern said this was a summer project, production would have to start soon. It could be Marvel’s planned “Fantastic Four” film, which is in need of a new director after Jon Watts dropped out. It could also be a Doctor Doom solo project. Stern’s wording leaves open the possibility that he would portray Doom or someone else in a Doctor Doom-centric project. Calling Robert Downey Jr. also implies that this is a bigger live-action project and not a voice role for something animated.
Stern may have also just been playing an odd prank. Still, the possibilities are almost endless. What are you hoping this Doctor Doom project could be? Let us know in the comments!

The decorative yellow suns have been removed from columns on the exterior of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland Resort. We saw work being done on the suns earlier in the month, and now it appears that was to remove them.
The suns were previously covering the clusters of white light fixtures visible in these photos.
They were on every column along the front of the building. Brown frames remain around the lights where the suns sat.
Silver suns remain on the corners of the porte-cochère and on the Paradise Pier Hotel sign.
Paradise Pier Hotel will be rethemed to the Art of Pixar, so the suns may be the first things to go before the full refurbishment.
A timeframe for the retheming was not announced, only that it would happen “soon.”
Here is what some of the suns looked like just a month ago:

A panel schedule for Disney’s presence at the Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans shows a couple of possible points for Disney to slip in some information about the new attraction, particularly on July 1. At 2:30p.m., the “Tiana Reimagined” panel will showcase “news of ‘Princess and the Frog’, and reveal of Tiana’s new look,” which could of course point to the attraction overlay.
Other chances include “Disney The Power of Joy: What’s Next?” at 11:50a.m. on July 1, and a TBD event at 3:10p.m. on July 2.
The attraction overlay was first announced in 2020, with a closure date for Splash Mountain at Disneyland and Walt Disney World still up in the air.
