Seaside Souvenirs has reopened at Paradise Gardens Park in Disney California Adventure after a brief refurbishment.

We thought the merchandise location might be getting a new name after “Seaside Souvenirs” was removed from the billboard during refurbishment.

That didn’t end up being the case, though. The name was just removed while the billboard was repainted.

Some merchandise stands sit out on the boardwalk.

The inside is looking bright and clean.

It’s full of Stitch and “Finding Nemo” merchandise.

The walls are striped coral pink, and wave-shaped molding runs along the ceiling.

There are blue and white ceiling fans to keep guests refreshed on hot summer days.

The new walkway from Disney California Adventure to Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is next to Seaside Souvenirs.

Is it just us, or does it seem like Disneyland Resort is already diving into Halloween?

They’ve released a list of everything guests can expect during the season, announced when the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay returns to Haunted Mansion, and launched Magic Keyholder ticket sales for Disney California Adventure’s Oogie Boogie Bash. See what we mean? They’ve been all about Halloween recently. And, to add to the spooky spirit, Disneyland is letting guests guess which new villains they’ll see this year.

Disneyland Resort is letting guests guess which villains will be joining the Oogie Boogie Bash Treat Trails this year! To give guests clues, Disneyland Resort tweeted a video, filled with hints to help identify the characters!

The video opens in front of Carthay Circle Restaurant, showing a golden teapot with a pink flower inside. With roses being a huge identifier for many villains (Beauty and the Beast and the Queen of Hearts), we think the choice of flower may be a huge clue. The flower quickly wilts, and we’re moved to the next scene.

We’re feeling like this scene pointed at Madam Mim from Sword in the Stone. We noticed this in one of her scenes — look familiar?

The next scene places us in a wooded area of the park, and shows us three candles burning on a candelabra. The candles are then blown out, one by one. Three candles…three Sanderson sisters (although Disney said it would only be 2 villains)…just thinking out loud over here.

Disneyland’s paper tickets now feature a redesign with a variety of characters from Pixar, Marvel, and the classics. Our tickets show Mrs. Incredible, Spider-Man, and Mickey Mouse. The last time we saw a ticket redesign was when Galaxy’s Edge dropped their stormtrooper inspired ticket last year.

Each ticket says “Welcome to your Happiest” and comes with a character on a colorful background gradient. Holding one of these will definitely get you excited to visit the Happiest Place on Earth.

The day has finally come — we’re taking a look at Disney’s newest cruise ship!

We’re on the Disney Wish!

The Disney Wish has officially joined the Disney Cruise Line fleet after being christened in a spectacular ceremony, and we’ve been bringing you our first look as we explore the ship. We’ve seen a sneak peek at some menus and even learned about the stellar shows on board. But now, we’re taking you on a tour of a stateroom on board the Disney Wish!

The Disney Wish has a total of 1,254 staterooms with 90% of them offering an ocean view and 70% of them equipped with a spacious veranda. But, not all rooms are created equal on the Wish — there are A LOT of different types including 451 connecting doors that adjoin rooms to accommodate larger families and groups and some that even feature adjoined balconies for a larger, shared space. And, that’s not even mentioning the EPIC suites that you can book for some extra $$$.

Guests are greeted by sweeping, royal views of the main Atrium, and the intricate staircase is all around.

The Disney Wish offers several different types of staterooms, but we’re looking at a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. As you make your way through the ship, you’ll notice the theming from the Atrium is carried through into the hallways.

As you enter the room, you’ll see a closet to your right and the door to the bathroom on your left.

For a cruise ship, this bathroom is pretty large and spacious! There is an area with a shower and tub, plus a sink and mirror. there are plenty of towels in there as well.

There is a separate area where you’ll find the toilet and another sink!

Moving out of the bathroom, across the hall is the closet space with hangers and robes.

…and a programmable safe! You’ll also find a laundry bag.

After stepping into the main space, you’ll find a queen-sized bed flanked by two small nightstands and lamps. Our room was Frozen-themed, and you can see that in the artwork above the bed.

This room sleeps up to five — there is a pull-out bed in the sofa…

…and a pull-down bed found in the wall, too.

Across from the sofa and pull-down bed is a large desk and hutch. You’ll also find a built-in vanity area complete with light-up mirror and seat!

The desk offers quite a bit of storage in the drawers.

And just beyond the pull-down bed is what might just be the best part of this stateroom…

…the private verandah! It’s quite spacious, and there is a small table with two chairs.

Former pro-wrestler Joey Ryan was briefly hired to work at Disneyland, as one newspaper reports, although his tenure did not last very long.

The former pro-wrestler is widely accused of sexual harassment, having been released from his most recent contract when allegations surfaced in 2020.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Ryan, whose real name is Joseph Meehan, was employed recently on probationary status for about three months at the Disneyland Resort, as a Jungle Cruise skipper. The park declined to hire him as a full-time employee, although specifics were not given as to why and whether his sexual harassment allegations played a part.

Criminal background checks are part of Disneyland’s screening process, but none alerted them to his past as a result of his stage name being used to report these allegations over the past several years.

From 2000 to 2019, Joey Ryan was a popular wrestler, who played the persona of a playboy in speedos and sunglasses. He was a founding member of Pro Wresting Guerilla, and appeared in matches promoted by the WWE and the National Wrestling Alliance.

Ryan continues to deny the harassment allegations and has filed a number of defamation suits against the women who accused him.

We headed over to Memento Mori (the gift shop beside Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom) and were ghoulishly delighted to discover some new Haunted Mansion clothes! First up, this Madame Leota T-Shirt has come from “Regions Beyond” to send its haunting message for $36.99.

So if you’re obsessed with the Haunted Mansion, you have another reason to get to Disney World as soon as you can to grab these fun tops! We will also let you know if and when they show up online.
