Call us silly, but we think one of the greatest perks of a Disney Cruise is the included child care! We’re not talking about just sticking your kids in the room with a teenager and instructions to order Mickey Bars from room service here.

Child care on board the Disney Wish cruise ship includes unique spaces, super fun staff to play with and just about any activity you could dream up — and, trust us, many that you would never imagine on your own.
The DFB team has visited every space for babies, toddlers, kids, tweens and teens on the ship! Let’s take a tour with them!
Disney’s Oceaneer Club
This space is designed for ages 3 to 12 and has themed spaces your kids should enjoy no matter their interests! First up, though, you have to check them in. You do that on Deck 3, and then your kiddos SLIDE DOWN to Deck 2 where the club is located. How amazing is this slide?! It’s the rabbit hole, and you slide into Wonderland!
Your kids will LOVE this slide down into the Oceaneer Club!
One thing you need to know about the Oceaneer Club is that it has multiple spaces where your kids can choose to hang out and participate in different activities. There’s a stage in the hub of the club where there will be special shows and character appearances.

And check out these Pixar-themed…bathrooms?!!

Now on to some of the themed spaces in the Oceaneer Club that the Wish’s younger passengers can explore.
Fairytale Hall
Disney princess and Frozen queen fans will be able to express themselves in this very regal space.

Kids can create art projects in Rapunzel’s Art Studio …

We’ve always wanted to visit Belle’s Library, how about you? It’s here on the Disney Wish — and there’s an enchanted painting above the fireplace that will bring tales to life!
Stories come to life in Belle’s Library.
A third themed space in Fairytale Hall is Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus.
Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus is home to interactive games for kids.
We’re told that Olaf will be around to play some interactive games and have other Frozen fun!
Walt Disney Imagineering Lab
The Imagineering Lab invites kids to learn secrets of Disney’s Imagineering department and participate in hands-on activities.
The Disney Wish includes an Imagineering Lab for kids!
The Imagineering Lab has a Ride Studio, where kids can design a roller coaster and then take a virtual ride on it. Uh, Disney, could you have an “Adult Night” in the Oceaneer Club on our cruise, pretty please?

Here’s the ride car you climb in for your test drive!
Marvel Super Hero Academy
For kids who are into all things Avengers, there’s this Marvel Super Hero Academy.

Kids can choose a super hero suit…

…and watch the mannequin transform into the super hero of their choice before their eyes.

Kids can then put on a suit of their own and participate in Avengers: Mission Training!
Mickey & Minnie’s Captain’s Deck
When kids need to burn off some energy, there is Mickey & Minnie’s Captain’s Deck!

This room has indoor playsets and an area to get some exercise.
Lots of opportunity for play on the Captain’s Deck
Edge
Edge is the club on the Disney Wish cruise ship designed for kids ages 11-14.
Kids ages 11 to 14 can meet friends and hang out in Edge
The design here is inspired by a New York City loft apartment and features bright backgrounds to take selfies.
Edge
There’s even a snack bar with a faux grass “picnic area.”

Pretty cool, right?!
Vibe
For older teens (ages 14 to 17), there’s Vibe.
Vibe
Vibe also has plenty of gaming areas and is inspired by an artist’s loft in Paris.

It’s A Small World Nursery
For the youngest people aboard the ship, there’s the It’s a Small World Nursery.
It’s a Small World Nursery
Each section of the space is themed toward a different area of the world, with Pixar, Disney, and Marvel characters “re-imagined” as dolls from the iconic “it’s a small world” attraction.
Toddler play area
Specially-trained Disney counselors will help the littles with age-appropriate games, stories and crafts. And there’s even a sweet nap room.

We’re fascinated with the mobile-style light fixture!
That’s a look at the kids clubs aboard the Disney Wish cruise ship! The clubs for children ages 4 and up are included with the cost of your cruise. It’s important to note that for the littlest cruisers in the It’s a Small World Nursery, there is an hourly charge for babysitting.
