Greetings from Magic Kingdom! We hopped aboard the resort Monorail today to take a look at everything that’s happening in the park, so let’s go!
We first made a stop at Uptown Jewelers on Main Street, U.S.A., to check out the new Dooney & Bourke Main Street Electrical Parade bags and MagicBand that arrived today to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Disneyland parade.
We obviously can’t start our day at Magic Kingdom without a little coffee from Main Street Bakery! There were these really cool new Star Wars “Been There” series mugs on display when we walked into the queue.
Over in Tomorrowland, we hopped on board the PeopleMover to check out TRON and the latest on the construction progress. Here, you can see some work being done on the attraction’s future entrance archway.
There are two new wild Apple Watch Bands on MaDe Kiosks in Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. One features a pattern of Mickey Mouse heads with varying safari animal print, and the other is a leopard print style with a hidden Mickey or two.
Mickey’s PhilarMagic continues to receive fresh paint as more of the center base is primed and painted red.
Frontier Trading Post has three new FiGPiNs featuring Hercules, Hades, & Woody.
Frontierland was definitely the place to be today! Crowds were big all over the park, but we caught the end of the line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad down along the bridge. The line at this point was 65 minutes.
Trying to escape the crowds over in Adventureland, we ducked into Plaza Del Sol Caribe Bazaar, where we found a new tie dye shirt featuring the jail scene complete with the prison dog.
The exterior of the shop appears to be undergoing some refurbishment as part of the upstairs railing has been covered with scrim.
On the lower level, the talking parrot and a few of the crates and lantern have been uprooted from the storefront as well.
We took another walk through the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., to see if anything new had been stocked since our visit this morning. A new pair of striped Stitch shorts and yellow surf Stitch shirt were out.
A pink “Main Street USA Walt Disney World” shirt is also in the shop. These light and breezy clothes are perfect for summer. Now it’s time to head to the resorts!
There was a slight chill in the air over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, as a cool new “The Haunted Mansion” Spirit Jersey materialized onto the shelves at BVG featuring the lovely Madame Leota.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort had a few more summer fits for us to check out. A hot pink “Dose of Disney” cropped jacket and super cozy stretchy overalls were downstairs at Boutiki.
These blue and white “Disney Magic” sweatpants were also available in the shop.
We took a walk along the beach to check out the remaining work being done on the repaved walkway behind the pool, and it looks nearly complete.
Now it’s time for us to hang out in a chair on the beach and relax for the rest of the day. Thanks for following along!
