Good morning from Magic Kingdom! We’re starting our day aboard the Walt Disney World Monorail system to take a peek at construction happening around EPCOT and over at Spirit of Aloha by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Construction at Journey of Water Inspired by Moana is progressing along well with new formations rising daily.
Over on the resort Monorail line, Spirit of Aloha demolition is making way as over half of the theater has been flattened.
We had to make a pit stop at the Joffrey’s Coffee kiosk outside of the Monorail platform when we switched over to the resort rail! There is usually never a line so you don’t have to spend half of the morning in line at the Main Street Bakery.
A new pair of ears was waiting for us in the Emporium! These are super cute and in honor of the new ‘Lightyear’ movie coming out. Look at Sox on the ear!
50th anniversary Castle collection MagicBands have been restocked also, its been a while since we’ve seen these.
A cute new black & white Minnie Mouse card holder; red, black, and blue Mickey Mouse patterned socks, and ‘Lightyear’ socks are available towards the back of the shop.
We found this small red, white, and blue Mickey Mouse star backpack perfect for the Fourth of July over at Curtain Call. Details of all of the merchandise finds for the day can be found in our daily merchandise roundup.
We hopped aboard the PeopleMover once the park opened to check out construction progress over at TRON in Tomorrowland.
We even got to see them running the cars again, this has become an almost daily thing now.
Repainting is at a standstill over at PhilarMagic where the lower half of the center tower still needs to be freshened up.
We made our way over to EPCOT in the afternoon to grab a bite to eat at Connections and noticed that only those with food in the eatery section were allowed to enter the back area of the restaurant. This is in place to help ensure that those that have purchased food at the establishment will have a place to sit.
A large new frame is also up at the front of the restaurant. This may be a menu board but as of now it is just being set up.
In Creations, the new Flower and Garden Festival Crocs are finally available.
The center area of the promenade in World Showcase has been blocked off and a stage being built in preparation for the livestreaming event of Harmonious with Idina Menzel.
As we made our way over to the Mexico pavilion, new “Coco” sweatshirt has hit the shelves at La Tienda Encantada.
The large signage at the American Gardens Theatre that used to display the performers has been completely removed and replaced with sign boards.
Rounding up our day, we headed over to Sunshine Seasons to try three fresh, new menu items that debuted for summer. We’re off to lunch, but thanks for following along today!
