Welcome to another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. The holiday weekend is over, but the crowds are still here. It’s a busy day, but we’re ready to check out what’s new.
As soon as we arrived, we spotted that Prime Parking had been raised to $60 again. Luckily, we have free parking with our Annual Pass!
At Islands of Adventure, we were excited to find Seuss Landing looking good! If I Ran the Zoo recently reopened and now Caro-Seuss-el has reopened! It’s been so long since we could take a ride on the carousel.
This also means that both tracks are running at the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride. This will help reduce the wait time by having Star and Beach sides going during the day.
A new Minions light-up spinning toy is available at the Islands of Adventure Trading Company.
To escape the crowds, we decided to dine in the Navigators Club above Confisco Grille. This is a UOAP exclusive dining area with amazing views of the park. This really feels like eating in an exclusive club! This area is open for Annual Passholders and their guests.
The Penne a la Vodka was delicious. What a great way to relax away from the crowds.
A small, brown construction wall has been set up in the arch behind the Mystic Fountain in the Lost Continent.
The Universal Monster plush at the skill games in Toon Lagoon are so cute.
The arcade in Marvel Super Hero Islands is a great way to escape the rain or heat and win some prizes. These Jurassic Park plush in the claw machine are adorable.
Over at Universal Studios Florida, it felt even more crowded. Wait times were very high.
Some new Jurassic World merchandise is available in the Universal Studios Store. The Biosyn bottle and the “Live Dinosaur!” keychain are very nice quality.
A few new props have arrived at the Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop. There are a few different signs from the Mardi Gras Tribute Store now for sale.
Universal’s Superstar Parade is ending on June 4, so decided to stop and watch the parade. We’re going to miss it, but looking forward to new entertainment offerings in the future!
That’s all for today. Thanks for joining us around the parks today. Be sure to stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more updates!
