As we previously reported, the Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop officially closes today, June 26. The store was known for selling antiques, outdated park merch, and stuff from refurbished or closed attractions — such as Shrek 4-D.
The shop was usually packed full of a strange amalgam of objects, though with the sales over the last few days prior to closing, not much remained today. The store had the feel of an antique shop, with stacks of seemingly random items (like fake fruit from window displays) and items any collector would love (like a door from a Disaster! ride vehicle).
There are all sorts of strange stuff lying around, from Mardi Gras bead necklaces to Marilyn Monroe posters..
This eclectic mix of props and park antiques will be missed as the Prop Shop closes
