The menu for Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion of EPCOT has seen a few changes this month. Prices have raised and some items have been removed or switched out for something else.
Above is what the menu looked like when we visited during Teppan Edo’s reopening in August 2020.
The spicy calamari appetizer has been replaced with assorted tempura: 3pc shrimp, onion, asparagus, and red bell peppers ($17).
Most of the sushi rolls have increased in price by $1. The spicy roll and California roll are now $14, the sashimi sampler is $16, and the sushi sampler is $14. The volcano roll remains $18.
The entrées have increased in price significantly. Here is the full breakdown:
- Filet mignon: $38 to $46
- NY cut steak: $34 to $40
- Julienne steak: $35 to $42
- Salmon: $32 to $37
- Ebi: $30 to $33
- Tori: $30 to $32
- Hotate: $37 to $65
- Yasai: $24 to $26
The Tsukiji (scallop and steak) combination has been removed from the menu. The other combinations have all increased in price: Asakusa is now $44, Nihonbashi is now $43, and Ueno is now $42.
Spicy calamari is now available as an add-on enhancement for $16. Here is how the other add-on enhancements have increased in price:
- Wagyu strip: $79 to $100
- Lobster tail: $29 to $38
- Hotate: $24 to $31
- Ebi: $15 to $17
Mixed mushrooms are still $14.
Yuzu mousse cake has been added to the desserts menu for $18. Mango mousse cake and matcha tiramisu remain for $9 each. Instead of chocolate tofu cake, there is now chocolate ginger cake for $9. The price of soft-service ice cream has been rounded up from $4.95 to $5.
The kids’ entrées include ebi ($18), tori ($18), and salmon ($20).
Most of the alcoholic beverages have also increased slightly in price.
For example, the 20oz Kirin draft and Sapporo premium have gone from $9.50 to $12. Sake selections have mostly increased by a dollar or two.
The cocktails all remain the same, but have increased in price slightly.
